AOC: copper and glass for longer distances and the best video and audio quality The AOC (Active Optical Cable) cable is made of copper and fiber for transferring 8K @ 60Hz over long distances up to 100m without data loss. It has a bandwidth of 40Gbps 4:4:4, also called UHBR10 DP 40.
The cable has a Kevlar protected fiber, an aluminium foiled shielding and is suitable for sensitive applications due to low RFI/EMI. The cable is supplied in a box.
No additional power is needed. The cable supports 3.3V over the full length.
